* Hi Melanie, Thanks for the phone messages. I went in the shed and saw that the ceiling is great. Thank you. You and Nahum did a great job. Yes, the floor is rotted. Also, could you please put up the towel rack in the upstairs bathroom. My mom, brother, sister-in-law, their kids are coming for Thanksgiving and we need the towel rack for them. Thank you. Things in our house are going great, now that you and your crew have done so many wonderful fixes. Dog door is great. Pocket door is great. Kitchen faucet is great. New doorbell is great. Painted walls are great. Dee-dee is great (Reyna rides the horse every day). Upstairs special cat window is great. Downstairs beautiful new bathroom tile floor is great. Thank you so much for those and everything else you have done! Debbie

* May 04, 2007 Hi Melanie, Thanks for getting my shower fixed so fast. It looks great. Yes, I would like you to fix the front gate. Maybe a wheel? Thanks again, Roxie W.”
*Sept 27, 2006 To Whom It May Concern: I employed Melanie Redman of Jill of all Trades to upgrade my kitchen. I want to say I am extremely pleased with how my kitchen looks now. They sanded and painted my cabinets, installed a refrigerator and stove and microwave with a vent over the stove. The work they did was excellent quality and done in a timely manner. She was good about returning phone calls and responding to my many requests for “little changes”. She went out of her way many times to be sure I was 100% pleased. And I am. Roxie W.”
* Hi Melanie-“I feel very fortunate to have found “Jill of All Trades”. I was needing some help with an outside project and then later some yard work. Melanie’s friendliness along with her useful advice helped me to understand the best way to complete the work I needed done. Nahum who works on Melanie’s team was amazingly meticulous in the quality of his work. So far I have had Jill of All Trades come over on two occasions-and both times the quality of work done has surpassed my expectations. Kim T., Santa Cruz”
*Shirley S. August 26, 2005 “Hordnyder’s Pharmacy referred me to “Jill of all trades” (Melanie) a few years ago when we needed grab bars installed in our home. Melanie checked out the house and decided where the bars would be most helpful and promptly, efficiently completed the job. At that time I learned of her many other skills and she has proven to be a superb repair person, analyzing and remedying house problems that have defied others. In the last couple of years she has realigned sliding glass patio doors and a sliding closet that previous “fixers” never could make work. When we has the house painted she cleaned up and re-installed all exterior light fixtures so they look like new. Her current “assignment” is to install additional grab bars and repair a lamp that the “professionals” left in worse shape than it was in. While she is working on these projects in her shop, I thought of two additional “annoyances” she should look at-a dimmer switch that only partly works and a door that creeps shut on it’s own (not hung properly?). If you would like a further recommendation, feel free to call. Shirley”
*March 22, 2005 Melanie Redman- A.K.A. Jill of All Trades- has been a great find (and friend) to me. Horsnyder’s Pharmacy recommended her to me when I went to buy some grab bars for my bathrooms. Melanie then went on to restore the trim around two doors my dog had destroyed, installed door catches and readjusted the pocket door to my bathroom. No one else had been able to fix the pocket door. She has done several other things for me-the latest is to paint the guest bedroom. I have recommended Melanie to a friend and I am sure many other friends can use her help. Sincerely, Marilynn B.

“Dear Melanie, Thank you for taking your time, teaching us how to hold the roller. It makes a difference on how I now roll, deck and wall projects. Some I brush others I leave textured but it all comes out nicely even! Thank you! Also your tough love gave me a scare but I do better at taking instructions and I don’t mess with anyone elses’ tools. Vacumming with hoses that are jammed are easier to fix after being shown how to fix. Thank you!
